    WHAT HAPPENED?

Barcelona were on song at Santiago Bernabeu as they humiliated Real Madrid in a 4-0 win, thanks a brace from Robert Lewandowski, and one goal each by Raphinha and Yamal. It was a statement night for Hansi Flick's side, however, revelations after the match were made that during the clash Yamal, Raphinha and Ansu were targeted with racial abuse by a group of home supporters. Vinicius has now come out in support of the Barca trio and condemned the "criminals" who abused them.

    WHAT VINICIUS SAID

Responding to Real Madrid's statement regarding the racism on X, the Brazilian said: "It's regrettable what happened yesterday at the Bernabéu with racist insults. There is no place for these criminals in our society. All my support to Lamine, Ansu and Raphinha. I know that Madrid and the police will do things to identify and punish the guilty!!"

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Real Madrid and La Liga have confirmed plans to take official action against the alleged offenders during the Clasico and have contacted the Hate Section of the Information Brigade of the National Police and also informed the National Police.
