    WHAT BRADY AND WAGNER SAID

The American told The Athletic: “It’s just a little bit of human nature, but it’s OK, you take the positive and understand that the rest is part of sport. Ultimately, you have to deal with a lot of things that distract you, but you still have to perform at your best. I always feel the better you do, the more you take on, and if you embrace it in the right way, you can use it as a positive.”

Wagner was asked by reporters what his first task will be this morning (Monday), to which he replied: “Figure out how to f***ing win. We need to learn to win at a higher level and we need to find a way to prepare ourselves for an even higher level than that. There’s a lot of work to be done.”

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

While this was an unexpected setback in what could be a record-breaking League One campaign by Birmingham, the main goal was to get promoted back to the Championship at the first attempt and they have done that. But bigger hurdles are coming their way and they need to find ways to overcome such adversity.
