Mohamed Salah reveals true feelings on Trent Alexander-Arnold as he sends emotional message to Liverpool team-mate after exit announcement

The English full-back has formally announced that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the 2024-25 campaign as he is all set to complete his much-hyped move to Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer. Alexander-Arnold penned an emotional statement on social media before revealing his decision to depart his boyhood club.

After the England international's exit from Anfield was confirmed, Liverpool star Salah took to Instagram to share his true feelings on his long-time team-mate. Salah and Alexander-Arnold have shared a dressing room for the past eight years.

On Instagram, the Egyptian wrote: "It’s been a pleasure sharing a special friendship with you and playing alongside you. I wish you the best, and I am sure we will meet again."

In the comment section of the post, Alexander-Arnold replied: "big bro."

Newly crowned Premier League champions Liverpool will be back in action on May 11 as they host Arsenal at Anfield in their penultimate match of the 2024-25 season.
