It's official: Nick Woltemade. The German, born in 2002, has joined Juventus on a paid dry loan from Newcastle. The centre-forward will undergo his medical at JMedical this afternoon before signing the contract that ties him to Juventus for one season.

The German striker joins from Newcastle on loan. Juventus announced: "Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announce that they have reached an agreement with Newcastle United FC for the acquisition, on a temporary basis until 30 June 2027, of the registration rights of player Nick Woltemade for a fee of €2.8 million, plus ancillary costs of €0.8 million. This fee may be increased, over the term of the player's sporting performance contract, by an amount not exceeding €0.5 million, upon the achievement of certain sporting objectives".
The career
Born in 2002, Woltemade came through at Werder Bremen, where he made 51 appearances and scored 2 goals. During his time there, he spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Elversberg, playing 35 matches and scoring 17 goals. In 2024, he moved to Stuttgart, where he made 35 appearances and 17 oars, before a move to Newcastle for a fee of 80 million plus 10 in bonuses. In the 2025-26 season with the Magpies, he made 51 appearances and scored 11 goals. This season, before moving to Juve, he played two matches for Newcastle without scoring.

At Juventus, Woltemade will wear the number 27 shirt.
