The England captain has had a record-setting yet heartbreaking first season with Bayern as he is set to finish yet another campaign without having won an official trophy. The <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-om/lists/worry-england-bayern-munich-thomas-tuchel-harry-kane-injury-problem-wolfsburg-euro-2024/blt0587d43ff448f5fa" target="_blank">back injury has now ruled him out</a> of Bayern's remaining clashes. However, <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/05/13/harry-kane-confident-fitness-euro-2024-back-injury-england/" target="_blank">The Telegraph</a> has reported that the striker will be fully fit for Gareth Southgate's utility at the Euros.

WHAT HAPPENED?

As per the report, sources close to Kane have said that the 30-year-old expects to be '100%' fit for the European Championship in Germany, as long as there are no fresh setbacks until that point. Kane will also be available for the Three Lions' preparatory friendlies against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Iceland, which he would have had to miss had the Bavarians made it to the Champions League final.

Kane's injury has ended his chances of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-kw/lists/robert-lewandowski-warning-to-harry-kane-bayern-munich-striker-claims-bundesliga-scoring-record-within-reach/blt2e43f422de9c8744#csb402c6f1ee5dd0a5" target="_blank">beating Robert Lewandowski's Bundesliga record</a> for most goals scored in a season. The Polish striker scored 41 league goals in the 2020/21 season, and Kane stood just five goals away from the record with 36 goals an outstanding feat regardless.
