  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Alexander-Arnold, who has only a few months left in his current Anfield, is set to leave his boyhood club at the end of the 2024-25 campaign and move to Real Madrid as a free agent. The full-back will reportedly sign a five-year contract with Los Blancos that will see him earn approximately €15 million (£13m/$16m) per year, a significant pay rise compared to his current Liverpool wages. Amid uncertainty over the star defender's future, Salah shared a cryptic video on his Instagram story where Ibrahima Konate and Dominik Szoboszlai are seen talking to the contract rebel as they take time out on a sofa at one of their houses.
