Harry Kane gives epic response after raucous Arsenal fans disrupt pitchside interview with Bayern striker after Champions League clash

The England striker was interviewed by TNT Sports after scoring in Bayern's 2-2 draw with the Gunners, as he found the back of the net from the penalty spot after Leroy Sane was fouled in the area. Arsenal supporters serenaded their pantomime villain - who used to play for bitter rivals Tottenham - with some choice chants, but Kane had a perfect response, insisting they have a "soft respect" for him.

Kane and Bayern came into the game on the back of two successive defeats, losing to Borussia Dortmund and Heidenheim, but one has to think their performance in north London will raise morale somewhat.

Kane was asked by presenter Laura Woods if he had "missed" the Arsenal fans, he replied: "I think they have a soft respect for me!"

Asked if he was satisfied to score against his old rivals, he added: "I know there wasn't just Bayern Munich fans watching this game tonight so it was maybe a little bit more pressure but it's always a tough game. Arsenal has always been a tough game."

Kane has a remarkable record against Arsenal. He has played against the Gunners on 20 occasions and has scored 15 goals. He will be out to add at least one more next week in the return leg in Germany.

The second leg will take place next week aat the Allianz Arena. Arsenal play Aston Villa this weekend in the meantime, while Bayern play Koln.
