Speaking on ITV, the former right-back said: "There's something for me, just thinking that Gareth wants to get Gallagher into the team. He's obviously going to make unpopular decisions, Gareth, and he's not scared of it. But I think there's an element of wanting to get Gallagher into the team but he knows that would be deemed as being quite negative. I think he's gone half in, he's not gone Gallagher, he's not gone Mainoo."
Fellow pundit and Manchester United legend Roy Keane agreed with Neville and said: "If you're a midfielder and see a right-back getting in ahead of you... you're not going to be happy."
