    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Ronaldo's future in the Saudi Pro League has been the subject of speculation now that he is into the final six months of his current deal. However, the Portugal icon, who turns 40 next month, ruled out a move away from Al-Nassr during an interview with the Saudi Pro League's official media channel, although he hinted that the club should buy new players to strengthen their squad.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

As per Saudi Pro League rules, a club can only register eight overseas players in the league and if they want to sign Casemiro, they have to sell or deregister an existing foreign player from their roster. Al-Nassr have already sold Seko Fofana to Rennes, while Brazilian Anderson Talisca is reportedly in line to join Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce.

    WHAT NEXT FOR MANCHESTER UNITED?

The Telegraph adds that if the Red Devils manage to offload Casemiro in January they will go after Paris Saint-Germain full-back Nuno Mendes. Ruben Amorim wants the Portuguese defender to be his first signing at the club, however, the French champions are unlikely to part ways with him in this window.
