Chelsea fan who aimed Nazi salute at Tottenham supporters punished with three-year football ban

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The supporter was spotted aiming the salute at Spurs fans during the London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November 2023. He has now been convicted of a racially aggravated public order offence at Thames Magistrates Court and banned from attending matches for three years, Metropolitan Police confirmed.

    A football banning order (FBO) is a civil order. The order means that the fan will not be able to attend football matches for a set period. The orders can vary in length from two to 10 years, depending on the severity of the offence.
