    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Anderlecht forward experienced discomfort following his 73-minute appearance against Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian league. Consequently, he will not travel to the United States, and the coaching staff has decided not to summon an alternate player to take his place.

Huerta’s absence represents a notable adjustment for Aguirre, who had planned to use the winger in Mexico’s two key friendlies during the September FIFA window.
