Is Alisha Lehmann heading to the United States? ‘Holidays start’ for Swiss star as she hits the airport & boyfriend Douglas Luiz readies himself for Copa America

The Aston Villa forward has seen WSL and international action come to a close for 2023-24, freeing her to enjoy a summer break. She will not be back on a competitive stage until Euro 2025 qualification resumes in July.

Lehmann intends to make the most of some free time, and has already passed through another departures lounge. The 25-year-old has been back in her homeland spending time with friends and family, while also competing in a bizarre form of car-based football.

It remains to be seen what her next destination will be, but there is every chance that she will be gracing American soil at some stage. That is because partner Luiz is preparing to compete at the 2024 Copa America with Brazil.

Lehmann and Luiz have already visited South America since wrapping up their respective domestic campaigns at Villa, and they may soon be reunited in the North. They will get a chance to holiday together once Brazil’s quest for continental glory in the U.S. reaches its conclusion.
