    WHAT HAPPENED?

As per The Independent, Isak was not in his Northumberland home when the burglary took place, only noticing there had been a break-in when he returned home and his bins had moved. The thieves broke in through a glass door and stole £68,000 worth of jewellery, £10,000 in cash and Isak's Audi car, Newcastle Crown Court heard.

Three members of the same family, living in Italy, have admitted conspiracy to commit burglary - though a fourth member, Valentino Nikolov, denies the charge. The group had stolen jewellery and clothes worth more than £1 million from a businesswoman on Tyneside and designer goods worth £100,000 from a different woman on Wearside in the previous days.
