Juventus are looking to claw their way back into the title race by strengthening their defence in January, with head coach Thiago Motta keen to bring Fikayo Tomori in from AC Milan. Fabrizio Romano claims the Rossoneri would consider an 'important proposal' for the centre-back in January but it would not be an easy deal to do for the Old Lady considering they would be buying from one of their rivals mid-season.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Juventus are currently nine points behind the league leaders Atalanta after 18 games. There have been a series of draws lately under Motta but a few smart additions in the upcoming transfer window could help turn those single points into a three-point haul.
DID YOU KNOW?
Tomori has made just nine Serie A appearances this season and it is not surprising to see him linked with a move away. Since October, he has managed just 11 league minutes, last making a two-minute cameo against Verona on December 20.

WHAT NEXT FOR TOMORI?
It is unknown how much it would take for Juventus to prise Tomori away from Milan but reports have suggested around £20million ($25m) could be enough to prise him away from the San Siro.
