'She's making me look bad!' - Chelsea & Canada duo Kadeisha Buchanan and Jessie Fleming star in Kitbag

Two years ago, Kadeisha Buchanan and Jessie Fleming made history. The pair were key members of the Canada women's national team as it won a first major international title, claiming the Olympic gold medal in Tokyo. This month, off the back of doing a league and cup double with Chelsea, they will head to Australia and New Zealand hoping to deliver more success for their country at the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Buchanan was immense in Japan, part of a back four that stood tall admirably throughout the tournament, keeping hugely important clean sheets in the quarter-finals against Brazil and in the last four as they beat the U.S. women's national team for the first time in 20 years.

The only goal of that historic game was scored by Fleming, who was cool as ice from the penalty spot to allow her country to progress. She backed that up with another composed finish from 12 yards out in the gold medal match before scoring in the shootout, too, as Canada triumphed in dramatic fashion.

Fleming joined Chelsea just before the Games and has won eight major titles since arriving in England, while Buchanan linked up with her international team-mate last summer and helped the Blues complete another league and cup double this past season - with it perhaps the club's best of their four successive Women's Super League titles.

These are two players at the very top of the game, who play in the biggest competitions in the sport. So, what do they need to perform at their best? In the latest episode of Kitbag, the pair have revealed all.
