Tottenham are ready to trigger the £60 million (€69.6 million/$81.4 million) release clause in Gibbs-White's contract at Forest, according to The Telegraph. New manager Frank is said to be a long-term admirer of the England international and it is now "increasingly" likely he will move to north London this summer. The 25-year-old was also interesting Manchester City before Pep Guardiola's side prioritised moves for Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders, but Fabrizio Romano has added that a medical with Spurs will now take place in the next 24 hours.
Getty Images SportSpurs are in the process of remoulding their squad following Frank's arrival. They finished 17th in the Premier League last season, which led to Ange Postecoglou's sacking despite victory in the Europa League. Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel's loan moves have been made permanent so far this summer, while defender Kota Takai has been brought in to bolster the roster. A deal for West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus has also been agreed.
Gibbs-White has developed into one of the Premier League's best attacking midfielders, playing a pivotal role and scoring seven goals alongside eight assists as Forest finished seventh, sealing European qualification.

Getty Images SportOfficial confirmation of both the Kudus and Gibbs-White deals could come soon as Spurs prepare for the 2025-26 campaign. They have pre-season friendlies lined up against Reading, Luton, Arsenal, Newcastle and Bayern Munich before they take on Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup in mid August.
