'Alongside his daughter's toes!' - Neal Maupay hits back at Paul Scholes' 'just takes the p*ss' comments with savage dig on social media

The outspoken French forward has got involved in yet another social media battle, this time with Manchester United legend Scholes. In an interaction on The Overlap Fan Debate by Sky Bet, Scholes was asked about Maupay imitating James Maddison's 'throwing the dart' celebration, to which the former England international said: "He just takes the p*ss."

After finding out about the video on X, the Everton loanee quoted the post and wrote in response: "Surprised Paul Scholes can fit my name in his mouth alongside his daughter’s toes."

Maupay referred to a video of Scholes sucking the toes of his daughter in a viral Instagram post from 2021. The Frenchman is known for his social media battles - back in December, he took aim at his parent club, who were going through a rough patch of form in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old will be back in action for Roberto De Zerbi's side on Saturday as they take on St-Etienne in a Ligue 1 clash.
