Kyle Walker 'deeply fearful' his marriage to Annie Kilner could be over with Man City star's team aware more 'upsetting' stories on affair with Lauryn Goodman may emerge

The Manchester City defender has been fighting to save his relationship with long-time partner Kilner. Walker fathered two children outside of wedlock with former Love Island star Goodman. The pair have since become caught up in a child maintenance legal dispute.

Walker has admitted to making “idiot choices”, but had been hoping to salvage his marriage – with Annie and their four children joining him at England games during Euro 2024. The 34-year-old was, however, by himself when attending the PFA Awards in Manchester – with hands often being kept in his pockets as questions were asked of whether he was wearing his wedding ring.

He was, but the Daily Mail claims Walker fears his partnership with Kilner is beyond repair. She has tried to forgive, but is unable to forget. The official line coming out of the Walker household has been one of working through problems, but the experienced defender has been staying in a City-funded apartment near to his Cheshire family home.

Friends of Annie believe there may be more uncomfortable stories to come, with one telling the Mail: “Kyle has done so much to save his marriage, he has made so many promises to Annie. He doesn't see his children with Lauryn at all after telling Annie he wouldn't. They're trying to work through such a difficult situation, which has been played out in public since the beginning of the year. It is taking its toll. Poor Annie is in a terrible state over it. Kyle's team are aware there are other stories that could come out into the public domain which could upset Annie further, whether or not they are true. There are real fears now that they just won't be able to work through this. So much has happened, it has been awful.”

Kilner’s friends are “deeply concerned” for her due to the ongoing Goodman scandal. She is being supported by her sister Sian, who is said to be “no fan of Kyle’s”. Other family members have been left “disgusted at his behaviour”, meaning that a parting of ways may now be inevitable.
