Douglas Luiz is on his way! Juventus tell midfielder to find new club this summer amid links with Man Utd swap deal and rival interest from Leeds and Nottingham Forest

Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa in a €50 million (£43.7m) move last summer but failed to impress. After logging just 516 minutes across 19 Serie A games, the 27-year-old Brazilian midfielder has been told to find a new club. New Bianconeri boss Igor Tudor has no plans to include him in his setup for the upcoming season, as per Calciomercato.

Juventus believe Luiz has not met expectations in Turin following his move from Aston Villa last summer and won’t get a second chance under Tudor’s regime. The club are now prioritising midfield restructuring as they prepare for the new campaign.

Luiz has been linked with a number of clubs, including Manchester United, in a potential swap deal with Sancho. Premier League sides Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are also monitoring the situation, with Luiz keen on regular football ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Juventus are expected to facilitate Luiz’s exit soon, with the player now assessing his options. A return to the Premier League appears likely as multiple clubs circle around the Brazilian midfielder.
