According to Sky, Atletico have submitted a €30 million (£26m/$34m) offer including bonuses, but Napoli are holding out for €35 million (£30m/$40m) with bonuses included. Should their pursuit of Raspadori fall through, Atletico have shortlisted Juventus winger Gonzales as a backup option but face stiff competition from Inter.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo declared winning the treble as the club’s main goal for the season, which led to seven new signings, including David Hancko from Feyenoord. However, with the departures of Rodrigo De Paul and Angel Correa, and the potential exit of Thomas Lemar, the addition of Alex Baena has not sufficiently bolstered Atletico’s attack. They showed interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, but the Nigerian rejected their approach, making it clear he is only interested in joining Inter.
ATLETICO'S OTHER TARGET
Atletico are also pushing to sign Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millot, aiming to activate his release clause after already agreeing personal terms with the player.

WHAT NEXT FOR ATLETICO AND RASPADORI?
Atletico will hope negotiations will go smoothly with Napoli and they will be able to land Raspadori. Meanwhile Raspadori will hope his future will be clear soon as Antonio Conte has placed the Italian winger on the market and is looking to raise funds for more additions this window for Napoli.
