Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez got his Confederations Cup off to a perfect start.
After Portugal had taken the lead in the first half of the teams' tournament opener on Sunday, the Bayer Leverkusen striker got on the end of a Carlos Vela cross to level the match at 1-1.

Raphael Guerreiro's poor clearance gave Vela the opportunity to cross, and Hernandez slipped in front of his marker to head home.

It was the fourth career Confederations Cup goal for Hernandez, who scored three times at the 2013 tournament for El Tri.
