Matsatsantsa welcome a wounded Lidoda Duvha, while Siwelele look to add to the Team of Choice's woes

The 2018/19 Premier Soccer League (PSL) action continues on Sunday with two matches taking place.

SuperSport United will look to bounce back when they lock horns with Black Leopards at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Tshwane.

Matsatsantsa are wounded having suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Orlando Pirates in their previous league clash last weekend.

The defeat ended SuperSport's six-match unbeaten run in all competitions which includes the two-legged 2018 MTN8 semi-final tie against Kaizer Chiefs.

The Tshwane giants are placed seventh on the league standings with nine points from five games. They are a point behind fifth-placed Polokwane City.

SuperSport head coach Kaitano Tembo will look to prolific forward Bradley Grobler, who has the ability to inspire Matsatsantsa to victory against Lidoda Duvha.

They will take on a struggling Leopards side which lost 1-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic at home last weekend.

This was Lidoda Duvha's second successive league defeat and they are also winless in their last four matches in the competition.

The Limpopo side is placed 13th on the league standings with five points from five games. They are three points above the relegation spot.

Leopards head coach Joel Masutha will be hoping that his first-choice striker Mwape Musonda scores and helps the team win in Tshwane.

The last league meeting between SuperSport and Leopards was on the 30th of March 2013.

Matsatsantsa edged out Lidoda Divha 3-2 at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Meanwhile, Bloemfontein Celtic will be eyeing another victory when they host Maritzburg United at the Dr Molemela Stadium in the City of Roses.

Siwelele's 1-0 win over Leopards extended their unbeaten start to the 2018/19 PSL campaign to five games having recorded four wins and one draw.

As a result, the Free State giants are placed third on the league standings with 13 points from five games. They are a point behind log leaders Pirates.

Celtic head coach Steve Komphela will be hoping that PSL Player of the Month for August, Alfred Ndengane plays an important role in helping his side win.

Siwelele will take on a Maritzburg side which is yet to taste victory in the league this season having drawn 0-0 with Bidvest Wits at home.

This was the Team of Choice's second consecutive league draw having lost their first three games in the competition.

The KwaZulu-Natal side is placed 16th on the league standings with two points from five games. They are three points behind 13th-placed Leopards.

Maritzburg United head coach Fadlu Davids will be hoping that Andrea Fileccia regains his scoring form and inspires his side to victory.

The last time Celtic faced Maritzburg in a league game was on the 12th of January 2018.

The Team of Choice thumped Siwelele 4-0 at the Harry Gwala Stadium.
