Real Kashmir FC returned to the summit of the Group A standings after their derby win, keeping rivals LoneStar Kashmir winless after eight games.

Besides completing a double over LoneStar this season, the win has also given David Robertson's side a 100 percent head-to-head record in the four games these two clubs have played so far - all in the 2nd Division I-League.

After eight games, Real Kashmir (16) are just a point above Hindustan FC who have a game in hand while both teams are in an advantageous position to qualify for the next phase as the next team FC Pune City are on 8 points from 6 games.

Real Kashmir will now face Delhi Dynamos (5) reserves on May 7, while LoneStar Kashmir would hope to catch up with the Delhi-based Indian Super League (ISL) side should they beat FC Pune City's B team on May 8.

Jamshedpur FC reserves were only beginning to collect a few points after their win and a draw against Chennaiyin FC reserves and Mohammedan Sporting respectively, but they had no reply to the tirade launched by TRAU on Thursday.

Their previous encounter in the current campaign was a 1-1 draw in the first leg fixture of Group C that was played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

On the other hand, TRAU returned to winning ways after they had dropped points twice in back-to-back matches against Bengaluru FC reserves that included their first defeat in the group as well.

Thanks to Langsning FC's (12) win over Bengaluru (11) on Wednesday,  TRAU (14) have once again salvaged the top spot in Group C and have their next test against Mohammedan Sporting in Kolkata on May 5.

Meanwhile, Jamshedpur (8) are now two points above bottom-placed Chennaiyin (6) who have recently recorded back-to-back wins. They are scheduled to travel to Shillong to face Langsning on May 1.
