"I'd much rather coach Canada than the U.S. right now, right?"He added, "You can see the mentality that's been developed. You can see the way this team plays. You can see how much they love playing for the national team, and they're willing to put their careers and lives in the way they play on the line, to be the best they can can be for each other and for the team. Pressure is mounting on the U.S. to make their <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/mauricio-pochettino-usmnt-head-coach/bltb80c077b540a0842" target="_self">rumored hiring of Mauricio Pochettino</a> official. The sentiment around the U.S. fan base is at a low, especially after a flat performance Saturday and a disappointing run in the Copa America held on home soil.Marsch's continued success with a Canada team that was ranked 40th by FIFA as opposed to the U.S.'s 16th, further exacerbates the problem -- especially considering the fact that he was available for the U.S. to hire.Until there is clarity about the U.S. head coach vacancy, questions will continue to mount for U.S. Soccer.
