PSG vs AS Monaco: Tickets go on sale for Trophee des Champions clash in Qatar

The tickets for the upcoming Trophee des Champions clash between top French outfits Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco have gone on sale from Monday, 23rd December 2024.

Qatar plays host to the fixture this time around, with the game scheduled on January 5, 2025, at Stadium 974 in Doha.

The match will kick-off at 7:30 pm local time.

Tickets for the game can be purchased from http://www.roadtoqatar.qa/ and fans will be able to purchase up to 10 tickets per person.

Stadium 974 was one of the venues for the 2022 World Cup which was held in Qatar. The 40,000 capacity stadium was built for the 2022 World Cup and has since hosted various other matches, including two games in the recently concluded FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

This one-off Trophee des Champions match between PSG and AS Monaco follows a series of global sporting events Qatar have hosted in the recent past, like the World Cup, Arab Cup, Asian Cup, Club World Cup, Gulf Cup, Asian Games, Italian Supercoppa and more.

The French Super Cup, or Trophee des Champions, is traditionally played between the defending champions of Ligue 1 and the French Cup winners.

Last season, both Ligue 1 and French Cup were won by PSG and hence, AS Monaco, who finished 2nd in Ligue 1, qualified for the fixture.

The tickets for the match are priced at 80 QAR (~$22) for Category 1 and 30 QAR (~$8.26) for Category 2.
