Focus falls on this weekend's semi-finals as four teams vie for a place in the final and a shot at the R8 million in prize money

The second leg of the MTN8 semi-finals resume this coming weekend with four teams determined to give themselves a shot at the lucrative R8 million prize. 

SuperSport United will travel to Johannesburg as they look to keep the defence of their title going, while Mamelodi Sundowns hope to overturn a one goal deficit at home against Cape Town City.

It promises to be an exciting weekend of football considering the fortunes of all the sides involved,  


When are the games? 


MTN8 2016 - Cape Town Stadium

The first semi-final between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United will take place on Saturday, September 1 at 20:15. 

Thereafter, the Tshwane giants take aim at Benni McCarthy's City on Sunday, September 2 at 15:00.

Where is the game?  


FNB Stadium

The clash between Chiefs and SuperSport is set to take place at the cathedral of South African football, FNB Stadium. 

Meanwhile, Sundowns host the Mother City-based outfit at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.
