‘What a win!’ - Iwobi, Aina, others react to victory over Libya

Nigeria players have expressed their excitement after their 4-0 win over Libya in Saturday’s Group E African Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Odion Ighalo’s hat-trick and an audacious curler from Samuel Kalu helped the Super Eagles to clinch the comfortable victory in front of their home fans in Uyo.

The win ensured the three-time African champions climb to the second spot in the group standings with six points from three games behind South Africa.

The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the last two editions of the tournament since claiming the title in 2013 and the triumph over the Mediterranean Knights have brightened their chances of securing a place in Cameroon next year.
