Harambee Stars striker Michael Olunga is set to ‘join’ Turkish side, Osmanlispor, according to reports from Turkey.
According to a tweet by Turkish Football, the former Djurgardens IF man, who crossed to Chinese Super League early this year, may move back to Europe after a turbulent first half season in China.
“Kenya international, Michael Olunga nearing a move to Osmanlispor. The transfer could be completed today,” a tweet on the unverified - @Turkish_footbol1 handle said.
Olunga’s short stay in China was made worse after he was plucked off Guizhou Zhicheng, first team squad after Chinese authorities introduced foreign quota rule which allows a team to have only three foreign players in the 40-man squad.
The lanky former Gor Mahia, Tusker and Thika United striker has so far missed three matches since he was axed from the squad.
