Kenneth Otigba and Bright Edomwonyi were on target in Kasimpasa’s 3-2 away victory at Rizespor in a Turkish Cup Group B encounter.
Otigba got the curtain raiser to give Kasimpasa a first half lead with Cristain Guanca doubling the lead for Kemal Özdeş’ side seven minutes after the restart.
Four minutes later, Titi added a third. But Edomwonyi, who recently joined Rizespor from Austrian outfit, Sturm Graz, got one back for Hikmet Karaman’s men in the 65th minute.
And a second from Ogulcan Caglayan moments later set up a tense finish for the visitors - who also paraded Emem Eduok for the entire duration - who held on for a vital three points to finish the preliminary stage of the competition top of their group, with Rizespor finishing behind them to move to the next stage of the league’s cup.
