Gor Mahia played identical 2-2 draws against Chemelil and Mathare United in the last two games.

The Englishman, who has come under sharp criticism from a section of the club fans for his rotation policy, defended his move citing congestion in the fixtures.

"We have been playing three matches in space of six days, and that has affected my players. Fatigue has crept in and it has reflected on the pitch, that is why we have struggled.

"I will not blame my players at all, it happens at times and it is up to me as a coach to find ways in which I can improve our results."

The comments come moments after the team secured the rights to play Hull City, after downing their bitter rivals AFC Leopards 5-4 in post-match penalties on Tuesday.
