Chelsea and Tottenham are both looking to build on a strong start to the 2022-23 season when they meet in a London derby at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Blues opened the campaign with a 1-0 win against Everton last week thanks to Jorginho penalty.

Spurs were much more impressive in their match, however, as they ran out 4-1 winners against Southampton to make them the immediate league leaders.

Tottenham have not beaten Chelsea in the Premier League since November 2018, so it tis no surprise that they are seen as the underdogs at 11/5 (3.2) with the draw offered at 12/5 (3.4).

Harry Kane drew a blank last week when his side smashed four past Southampton, but he is the favourite to get the game's first goal at odds of 5/1 (6.0). Team-mate Son Heung-min, who was the league's joint top scorer last season, is available at 7/1 (8.0).

Armando Broja is the lowest-priced Chelsea player to open the scoring at 6/1 (7.0) while Raheem Sterling is 7/1 (8.0).

Chelsea vs Tottenham preview

Chelsea will be without midfielder Mateo Kovacic for Sunday's game because he is out with a knee injury, while Marcos Alonso will not be present as he is finalising a transfer to Barcelona.

Thomas Tuchel could field the same starting XI as last week as Kalidou Koulibaly is available despite being forced off in the second half against Everton.

The German coach will be demanding a big improvement on their first competitive outing of the new season, though, as his side were hardly convincing at Goodison Park.

Tottenham coach Antonio Conte will be without the injured Clement Lenglet and Oliver Skipp for the trip to Stamford Bridge.

However, summer signing Richarlison is available to make his debut after he was suspended for last week's match against Southampton.
