Marcus Rashford was named Premier League Player of the Month for February on Friday, in acknowledgement of his remarkable performances in the top flight.
Admittedly, it’s all gone wrong this month with Manchester United’s 7-0 thrashing by Liverpool, but Rashford was always going to be a contender for the award following his performances in February.
Some may argue, however, that Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho deserved the award following his exploits for LeicesterCity, while others have argued that Benni McCarthy—as well as Rashford—should have been honoured!
