Despite that, the French international, who has been made captain on a number of occasions in recent weeks, has still scored 39 goals and bagged nine assists this season as they sit 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1. Mbappe's PSG will now prepare for the first and second legs of their quarter-final Champions League tie against Barcelona on Wednesday and then the following Tuesday. It is likely he will play a huge role in both matches.
