AFC Leopards might pull out of this year's Caf Confederations Cup following SportPesa decision to pull out their sponsorship deal on Tuesday.

The betting firm made good its threat by canceling the sponsorship program that benefited AFC Leopards and arch-rivals Gor Mahia.

According to Ingwe chairman Dan Mule, the team's Executive Committee will have to sit and decide the way forward.

"We have just called an EC meeting today, (Tuesday ) to discuss our next course of action. Definitely top of the agenda will be how to get another sponsor as soon as possible because right now we do need one.

"We might be forced to pull out of the continental assignment if we do not get a sponsor because we cannot afford to take part in it," Mule told Goal.

Football Kenya Federation, as well as Kenyan Premier League, have also been affected by SportPesa's cancellation of all sports sponsorship.
