No 'Last Christmas' tears for Wrexham! Rob McElhenney posts hilarious Wham! photo featuring Ryan Reynolds

McElhenney posted a photo on social media platform Instagram of the duo posing as Wham! stars George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley for the famous festive song 'Last Christmas.' The caption of the post is 'WREXHAM' with the photo staged as though it were the 1980s. It's the latest offering from Wrexham's Hollywood owners who have regularly shown how they are happy to poke fun at themselves and each other.

Wrexham have flourished under the ownership of Reynolds and McElhenney, being promoted into the English football pyramid last season and now being third in the League Two standings. They're on-course for promotion as things stand, and are flying heading into the festive season.

Wham!'s Christmas album came out in 1986, and has been on the top-10 chart for holiday songs almost ever since.

The Red Dragons take on Newport County on Saturday before a Boxing Day clash on Tuesday against Swindon Town.
