Al-Ittihad's mega Saudi Pro League clash with Al-Ahli had to be stopped for five minutes after home supporters threw flags onto the pitch. While the players took the opportunity to take a drinks break, Kante simply got to work by helping clear the flags from the pitch. It was a characteristically selfless act from the former Chelsea star and thrilled fans on social media, including broadcaster Ben Jacobs, who admitted it was "Typical N'Golo Kante."

Kante has won the game's biggest prizes during his phenomenal career, lifting the World Cup with France and claiming Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League titles with Chelsea. The midfielder was also part of the great Leicester City side that stunned the football world by being crowned English champions during the 2015-16 season. Yet Kante has never let his incredible success affect him and is known and loved for being a humble and fame-shy player who is admired throughout the football world.

Kante's Al-Ittihad went on to secure a 1-0 win over Al-Ahli to move level on points with Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal, although the defending champions do have a game in hand. Al-Ittihad return to action on Thursday against Al-Orobah.
