VIDEO: Aston Villa star Alisha Lehmann leaves friend in stitches as she stumbles in roller skates while posing in high-rise skyscraper

Lehmann posed for pictures in her skates before giving them a short spin. However, the Switzerland star stumbled as she skated towards a pillar in a high-rise apartment, sending her and her friend into a fit of laughter.

"That’s just how I roll, meet my new skates," Lehmann wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

She then shared a video of her skating in her bedroom and jumping onto the bed, writing: "When you're 25, have your own home and can do whatever you want."

The attacking midfielder appeared to be having a fun Friday night but she will be ready to swap her skates for football boots as her team take on Liverpool in the Women's Super League on Sunday.

Lehmann started her team's last Women's Super League match - a 2-1 win at Tottenham on February 18. She will hope to be back in the starting XI on Sunday as the eighth-placed Villa host a Reds team sitting fifth and six points above them in the table.
