In the titanic struggle for Championship supremacy there are two sides vying for attention on both sides of the Atlantic. But when it comes to pounds and pennies, there is only one winner in the battle between tom Brady's Birmingham and north Wales outfit Wrexham, owned by Hollywood glitterati Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. According to research from OLBG.com, the Blues are cheaper to watch and sit 9th in the table of Championship clubs with Wrexham down in 12th. 

Following research, which included items such as season tickets and the cost of a replica shirt, Stoke City came out on top of the table as the cheapest club to follow. At the other end of the table, hang your heads in shame Sheffield Wednesday, the dearest team in the second tier of English football to watch. With that news coming just days after Owls fans held a mock funeral to mourn the diabolical state the club is in. 

Birmingham's cheapest season ticket is £80 less than anything currently available at Wrexham.

It's back to league action for both sides this weekend, where Birmingham look to continue their highly impressive run. The Blues are unbeaten in their last 26 home league games, while Wrexham will want to avoid a third home defeat in a row at the start of the season for the first time since 1981/82 season. Fortunately for them, they face Wednesday, who are also pointless.
