Making a statement! Formula 1 fan Sergio Aguero dons custom Man City race suit at Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Formula One fan Aguero has been spotted at the final Grand Prix of the 2023 season in Abu Dhabi. The former striker caught the eye by rocking up in a custom Manchester City-themed race suit for the occasion. No doubt he will be keeping one eye on his team's crunch Premier League clash with Liverpool at the Etihad too this weekend.

City and Liverpool face off in a huge game at the top of the table in the English top flight on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's side head into the match on top of the pile but just a point ahead of the Reds. Victory for the defending champions would provide a big boost to their hopes of retaining their title, but an away win would see Liverpool leapfrog their rivals and move into top spot.

Erling Haaland and Mo Salah are the top two scorers in the Premier League this season, as well as the two players with the best minutes per goal ratio this term (min. 500 minutes played). The City striker averages 79 mins a goal, while Salah is just behind on 105 mins/goal.

City will turn their attention back to the Champions League after the game against Liverpool. The European champions have already confirmed their place in the last 16 but continue their group campaign on Tuesday against RB Leipzig before hosting Tottenham in the Premier League next Sunday.
