Rob McElhenney expresses his 'trust' in Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson as Red Dragons co-owner celebrates comfortable win against Exeter

Wrexham returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Exeter thanks to goals from Max Cleworth, Ollie Palmer and Oliver Rathbone. The victory sees Wrexham move into second place in the League One table, four points behind leaders Stockport who have a game in hand on the Welsh side.

Wrexham's win maintains the team's promotion push as the Red Dragons aim to secure a place in the Championship for next season. McElhenney celebrated the victory on social media and gave manager Phil Parkinson his full backing at the same time.

After the final whistle, the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star posted on X: "In Phil We Trust. @Wrexham_AFC."

Parkinson and his Wrexham team are back in League One action on Tuesday. The Welsh side host seventh-placed Lincoln City at the SToK Cae Ras.
