Premier League clubs regularly scouting Man Utd loanee Mason Greenwood and were in attendance at Getafe to see striker score wondergoal against Almeria

Greenwood has enjoyed a bright start to life in La Liga, scoring two goals and setting up three more in his first 10 matches. According to AS, teams in the English top-flight have frequently sent scouts to watch him and were present when he scored possibly the best goal of his career in their 2-1 win against Almeria on Saturday.

The prospect of bringing Greenwood back to the Premier League is a contentious one for English clubs, however. Manchester United opted to send him on loan to the Spanish side following pressure from fans and staff due to his arrest on suspicion of attempted rape, assault and coercive control, though those charges were eventually dropped.

Greenwood has become a first-team regular at Getafe in recent weeks. The winger was eased into the squad initially, coming on as a substitute in his first two matches. However, he has now started seven of the 10 league matches he has played for the Madrid club.

The England international will have another chance to impress the Premier League scouts when his side take on Las Palmas in La Liga on Friday. Getafe are currently eighth in the Spanish top-flight and have not lost since late-September.
