    THE BIGGER PICTURE

M'Vila is a seasoned campaigner who will bring some much-needed experience to the Ligue 2 club. He has played for Sunderland in the Premier League and also won 22 caps for France. The 34-year-old was most recently back in England with West Brom, joining the Baggies for the second half of 2023-24.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Mbappe almost joined Caen as a youngster but the deal fell through because the club were facing relegation to Ligue 2, where they are now playing. They have not been in Ligue 1 since 2019.
