Jordan Henderson to link up with Harry Kane? Bayern Munich offered former Liverpool midfielder as he seeks January exit from Al-Ettifaq

As per talkSPORT, the former Liverpool captain has been offered to Bundesliga sides Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, after it was reported that the player wants to leave Al-Ettifaq, just six months after joining them for £13 million from the Reds.

The England midfielder's start to life in the Middles East has not gone to plan as his club has won just six out of their 19 league clashes and currently find themselves eighth in the table. The 33-year-old has also struggled to adjust to the humid weather of Saudi Arabia which has prompted him to take the drastic decision.

If the player decides to turn his back on Al-Ettifaq, the move could cost him around £7 million ($9m). He currently earns £700,000-per-week tax-free in Saudi Arabia but the tax-free element only kicks in if he sees out the first two years of his contract.

As of now, the Saudi club is not willing to sell their marquee player in the January transfer as they are looking to turn things around once the winter break is over. The player too has not yet handed an official transfer request to the Steven Gerrard-managed side.
