  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Per Metal Sucks, Netherlands icon van Basten was left disgusted by Linkin Park's performance ahead of the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan. Analysing the game for Ziggo Sport, the three-time Ballon d'Or winner claimed that it was a "disgrace" that the band were booked to play just minutes before the most important game in the European football calendar.

  • WHAT VAN BASTEN SAID

Van Basten told Ziggo Sport: “The Linkin Park performance was garbage, absolutely garbage.

“It’s a disgrace that UEFA allows this. I find it absolutely idiotic… Worthless, totally worthless.”
