Inspired by Ryan Reynolds & David Beckham? USMNT & AC Milan star Christian Pulisic gets his own documentary – with fans promised ‘unprecedented access’ to private life

Hollywood actor Reynolds, alongside Rob McElhenney, is responsible for the award-winning ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ show, while Manchester United and England legend Beckham recently starred in a production for Netflix.

It has now been revealed that United States international Pulisic, who plies his club trade for Serie A giants AC Milan, will be hitting the small screen. The series is due to begin filming this summer, with the USMNT in Copa America action on home soil.

Producers have said of ‘PULISIC’, with no release date confirmed as yet: “The series will provide unprecedented access to Pulisic’s life and growing celebrity in Italy as he competes in the UEFA Champions League and Serie A competitions. Cameras will be in tow every step of the way as Pulisic meets the demands of global stardom and prepares for the biggest moment of his career – the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup on home soil. The series looks back at the life and career of Pulisic, from his beginnings in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to European standout and American hero. From representing the U.S. Men’s National Team this summer to suiting up for AC Milan against the game’s biggest stars in Europe, Pulisic’s stardom is reaching new heights both on and off the pitch. PULISIC is produced in partnership with CBS Sports and CBS Sports Emmy-winning Senior Creative Director Pete Radovich.”

Pulisic, who is famously reserved, has told CBS Sports of opening up a window into his world: “As soon as Pete Radovich reached out to me, and just seeing all the work that Paramount and CBS have been doing, I think it’s the perfect opportunity for me to kind of show people a little bit of what it’s like being an American out in Europe, the struggles I go through, all these things. For me, I think it’s a great time leading up to the World Cup in the U.S. So, I’m just really excited about it.”

He added on what viewers will learn: “I’ve been pretty private in most of my life. I think people are going to see a lot of just the difficulties that I go through living in Europe, being American out there and just going about my career and the pressures of being a soccer player in America. I think there’s a lot of things, but it’s going to be interesting.”

Pulisic enjoyed a career-best campaign with AC Milan in 2023-24, as he registered 15 goals through 50 appearances in all competitions. The Champions League winner was unable to land a trophy with the Rossoneri, but will be back for more next season and has already helped his country to CONCACAF Nations League glory in 2024.
