Antony joined Real Betis on loan in January from United and has made a bright start so far; setting up a goal for his side in the 2-2 draw against Athletic Club last week and on Saturday he scored at Celta in the 11th minute of the contest.

According to Squawka, the Brazilian has now scored as many league goals (one) in two matches for Betis as he did for United across 37 games and two seasons. The £85 million ($106m) recruit may go down as one of the worst signings in United's history but at this rate, teams may be interested in his signature this summer.

Since joining United from Ajax in 2022, the 24-year-old has scored just 12 goals and bagged a paltry five assists in 96 appearances for the Premier League side.

After this Betis game, Antony could feature for the Spanish team when they travel to Gent in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
