Annie Kilner having 'second thoughts' about divorcing Kyle Walker as Man City star considers lucrative move to Saudi Arabia

According to The Sun, Walker's estranged wife Kilner was considering divorcing the England international last year but after spending Christmas with the 34-year-old and their four kids, that could change. Kilner is currently having 'second thoughts' about splitting up from the ex-Tottenham man and he is now said to be back in the marital home.

The report adds Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr want to sign Walker, who could earn £400,000 a week if he moves to the Middle East. Not long on from Kilner allegedly fighting to get half of Walker's £27 million ($33m) fortune, the pair may be getting closer to a positive resolution. It is said that a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia for Walker is not behind Kilner softening her position.

A source told The Sun: "It was just a few months ago that Annie served Kyle with divorce papers, but she’s having second thoughts. He’s a top target for the Saudi Arabia clubs and if he decides to take a deal it’ll be life-changing — and not just because of the massive amount of money he’ll be making. Annie is no fool. She sought legal advice about the finances last year and knows that the deal in Saudi is worth a lot. Annie says it’s not about the cash but keeping their family together, yet his earning potential is something she will have thought about. She is savvy and has been mapping out a plan for a long time. Annie always puts the children first but she has to think about herself too — and financially she wants to know she would be secure whatever happens between them. Kyle has assured her that whatever happens, she would have the financial support."

While Walker has four kids with Kilner, he also has two children with ex-mistress Lauryn Goodman. The two of them were involved in a highly publicized marital dispute late last year.

Aside from personal matters and transfer speculation, Walker's City side face League Two outfit Salford City in round three of the FA Cup on Saturday.
