Eyewitnesses have claimed that they saw and heard monkey gestures as Chelsea opened the scoring in the 57th minute and celebrated in close proximity to a section of fans.

Injured Chelsea star Cole Palmer was spotted attending a UEFA Youth League game between the Blues and Benfica as the England international almost encroached onto the pitch. Earlier this month, Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca had revealed that he told Palmer to sit out all of Chelsea's fixtures before the international break due to his ongoing injury concerns.
