Liverpool 2017-18 preview: Transfers, full squad, fixtures, shirt numbers & tickets

Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League last season and Jurgen Klopp will have designs on pushing further up the table in 2017-18, as he continues to mould the Reds in his image.

Klopp failed to clinch any silverware last year, bowing out of the FA Cup and the EFL Cup at the fourth round and semi-final respectively, so there will be an expectation for him to deliver glory, having also drawn a blank in his first term.

Liverpool 11/1 to win the Premier League

The Merseyside club qualified for the Champions League with their league finish, which represents a boost, but they will have to navigate a tricky play-off round before they can be sure of taking part in the competition they have won five times in their history.

With a number of new signings joining the team, the Reds have looked impressive in pre-season, recording big wins over the likes of Hertha Berlin and Bayern Munich, and the Anfield faithful can be forgiven for having a sense of optimism ahead of the fresh campaign.

With competitive action set to kick off on August 12 in the Premier League against Watford, Goal has your complete guide to the new Liverpool season.

Liverpool have not been too active in the transfer market this summer, but the acquisition of Mohamed Salah from Roma for a fee of £36 million was a big move. Andrew Robertson signed for the club from Championship side Hull, while Dominic Solanke arrives from Chelsea following the agreement of a compensation fee at a tribunal.

Going the other direction, fan-favourite Lucas Leiva ended a 10-year spell at Anfield by joining Serie A side Lazio for £5m, while Andre Wisdom departed for Championship outfit Derby County.

Liverpool season tickets for 2017-18 are sold out and, due to the demand, there is a long waiting list to join if you wish to purchase them.

Tickets for Liverpool's Premier League games range from £9 to £59 for adults and from £9 to £29.50 for Young Adults. Senior citizens can attend league games from £9 to £44. Tickets for junior fans are priced at £9 regardless of seat.

Interestingly, the Reds have introduced a number of changes to the process of purchasing general sale tickets in a bid to encourage more local fans to attend games at Anfield.

The club confirmed at the end of July that a certain number of tickets will be made available to fans living in the 'L' postcode area, with proof of identifcation and residence required for purchase.

Details on how to buy tickets are available on the official Liverpool website.
