The 28-year-old has not featured for Dortmund this season and will not return until 2018.

The Germany international, contracted to the Bundesliga club until June 2019, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and Arsenal and United will keep an eye on him.

Manchester United are ready to fight Juventus for the signing of Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez, according to a report from the Express .

The Uruguay international has a £60 million release clause inserted into his current deal, which runs until 2021, but the 22-year-old remains high on Jose Mourinho's list of priority targets.

Everton-owned Henry Onyekuru is being chased by Atletico Madrid and Juventus, report the Mirror .

The 20-year-old, currently on loan with Anderlecht, was snapped up for £7m in the summer, but was immediately sent out on loan due to work permit issues.

And Onyekuru has hit the ground running back in Belgium, scoring six goals in nine games since arriving in the Pro League, sparking interest from the European duo.

Onyekuru's form, of course, has no doubt left Everton feeling sheepish as they continue to struggle for goals under Ronald Koeman.

With Slaven Bilic's job on the brink at West Ham, the club have been linked with a number of candidates to replace the Croatian boss.

The Mirror claims ex-Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini, currently with Russian side Zenit St Petersburg, is the Irons' top choice to replace Bilic, while Express claims Huddersfield Town's David Wagner is number one on their list, with Manuel Pellegrini also in the frame if the Hammers don't get their man.


LIVERPOOL OPEN TO INGS LOAN

Liverpool striker Danny Ings, now fully fit after nearly two full seasons through injury, could be in line for a loan move as the 25-year-old makes a late push to be included in England's squad for the 2018 World Cup, the Mirror  reports.

Jurgen Klopp is a fan of the former Burnley man, but the length of time he has spent on the sidelines means it will be difficult for him to make an instant return to the first team at Anfield.

Championship sides have shown an interest in the frontman, but he is unlikely to step down a league with a spot in Russia at stake. The report suggests Newcastle, Southampton, Watford and Crystal Palace would all be interested in taking Ings on board.

The 18-year-old forward, who stands at 5ft 5in, has been a revelation for Maccabi Petah Tikva, prompting Jurgen Klopp's side to have already fronted a bid of €5 million for his services.

Having recently been sacked by Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti is the favourite to replace Antonio Conte at Chelsea, Express  reports.

The outlet notes that the Champions League-winner coach has the best odds to replace the former Italy boss, while Everton, West Ham and Leicester are also credited with an interest.

Real Madrid are keeping tabs on England Under-17 star Jadon Sancho, according to the Mirror .

Sancho, who moved to Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City for £8 million on transfer dealine day, has been impressive at the U17 World Cup, scoring three goals and bagging two assists in the group stage.

The report suggests Madrid have sent scouts to watch the young winger, who was immediately handed the number 7 shirt – formerly Ousmane Dembele's – upon his arrival at Signal Iduna Park.

Real Madrid see Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino as a possible successor to Zinedine Zidane, The Sun   claims.

The Argentine has enhanced his managerial stature at Spurs after bright spells at Espanyol and Southampton and has attracted attention from the European champions. Madrid have no plans to get rid of Zidane after he delivered a second consecutive Champions League crown, but they are looking at other options to be safe.  


TOTTENHAM LOOKING TO SIGN CELTIC'S TIERNEY

Mauricio Pochettino is continuing to monitor Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney, according to the Daily Record .  

The north London club have long-standing interest in the 20-year-old Scotland international and were once again on hand to watch him during Celtic's 3-0 Champions League defeat at Bayern Munich last week.

David Moyes is being considered by Everton as a potential manager should they opt to sack Ronald Koeman, according to  The Mirror .

With the Toffees struggling in the Premier League and Europa League, Koeman is reportedly close to being fired and the board are on the look for other options, with the Scotsman seen as a candidate. Moyes spent 11 years in charge of Everton before moving to Manchester United to replace Sir Alex Ferguson, but he is out of work since overseeing Sunderland's relegation last season and is said to still have a good relationship with chairman Bill Kenwright. 


BARCELONA TO SWOOP FOR HERRERA

The Catalan club have apparently identified the Spaniard as a long-term replacement for Andres Iniesta, and could take advantage of the 28-year-old's contract situation at Old Trafford.

While the former Porto star has not found life easy in Serie A his form in continental competition - having scored six times in seven Europa League matches - has caught the eye of the Spanish and English sides. 

Both clubs view him as an good option to add depth to their squads who would not need to be a full-time starter.

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez watched Anthony Martial during Manchester United’s Champions League victory over Benfica, reports Mundo Deportivo .

Fernandez travelled to Lisbon for the game and saw Martial produce a lively 15-minute cameo off the substitutes’ bench after the France forward replaced Marcus Rashford.

Speculation has recently claimed United would be willing to offer Martial in exchange for Barca midfielder Ivan Rakitic, while Arsenal are also reported to be admirers of the former Monaco youngster.

Real Madrid are closing in on a deal to sign Palmeiras’ teenage midfielder Alan, according to AS .

Alan has been impressing for Brazil at the Under-17 World Cup in India and has a release clause in his contract of €50 million.

However, Madrid are hoping to negotiate a lower fee to bring Alan to Spain in the summer of 2018 and pitch him into their Castilla side.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is so confident he'll be transferring to Manchester United, he's already begun telling his Gunners team-mates, according to The Mirror. 

After Arsene Wenger admitted last week that the Gunners could end up selling Ozil in January, the 29-year-old feels he is set to join Jose Mourinho, his former manager at Real Madrid, at Old Trafford in 2018.

Ozil's contract is set to expire at the end of the current season, so Arsenal could attempt to sell him in January to avoid losing him on a free.
